Absolutely blown away by the peaceful village location, SUPERB cottage accommodation, and impeccable service. Unlimited continental breakfast had us feeling super satisfied. So much space, separate from the bustling restaurant, we were in awe of the charm and coziness of the cottage, complete with every amenity imaginable, even an umbrella! Quick and easy check-in after a long drive, the friendly staff ensured we felt right at home instantly. the on-site pub's delicious meals, vast real ale selection, and warm ambiance were mind-blowing. A jaw-dropping value for money with outstanding overall experience.

Crown & Anchor is my go-to place in Grantham. The staff helped me with sim cards at my first stay and I remember it. It suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, a bar/restaurant, and a flat-screen TV. I keep coming back for romantic escapes.

Great pub, friendly staff. We'd booked only the day before and restaurant was busy but they fitted us in for dinner which we really appreciated. the cottage is comfy and well equipped. the food was absolutely second to none. One of the nicest meals my partner and I have eaten out. the staff are amazing and so very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
The accommodation was not clearly described. We were surprised to find ourselves in a cottage instead of the pub, and the lack of blinds in the cottage made us feel a bit exposed.

The value for money at this hotel was exceptional and the cottage we stayed in was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, fitting us in for dinner even though the restaurant was busy. The pub itself was great, with excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere. The village was also very pretty and the Christmas trimmings in the cottage added a nice touch.
The only thing that could have been improved was the breakfast option. It would have been helpful if the accommodation description made it clear that a self-serve continental breakfast was provided in the room.
